I have two kids myself, but the best birth story I know is the one I saw in my own second grade classroom a few years back. When I was a kid, I loved show-and-tell. So I always have a few sessions with my students. It helps them get over shyness and usually, show-and-tell is pretty tame. Kids bring in pet turtles, model airplanes, pictures of fish they catch, stuff like that. And I never, ever place any boundaries or limitations on them. If they want to lug it in to school and talk about it, they're welcome. Starting at 20 weeks, how the baby is measured changes . Up until 20 weeks, baby is measured crown of head to rump. Now the baby is measured head to toe. This is why it seems that the baby all of a sudden is a lot bigger than last week. Banana! Cantaloupe

Ok, so the list seems to be getting longer. Along with apples and hazelnuts, I think that I'm now allergic to nectarines. Hopefully this will all get better once the baby is born. I really hope so because I love all three of these things! Oh how could I live without Nutella?!?!?

Baby is a... heirloom tomato! or a mango!

Today we had our major sonogram and got some great pictures of the baby. We also found out the sex. If you want to know, let me know, but I won't post here just yet in case people don't want to know. The baby is punching me!! Baby sucking baby's thumb. And the coolest one of all (and I didn't even have to ask for it) - in 4D!!!
