Got these in one of my pregnancy emails today :-) Useful comebacks to rude pregnancy comments • "At least I made somebody's heart and brain today. What did you do?" • "You're huge too — and you don't have the excuse of another person living inside you." • "Go ahead, but I'm not touching yours." 

A slightly larger melon!

Saw the midwife yesterday, baby is doing well, still head down, as she's been for the past almost 6 weeks now, so hopefully she won't do much turning the rest of the time (although her position is doing a number on my hips!) Good strong heartbeat, so all is well. Less than 6 weeks until I'm officially due, but who knows how long until she decides it's time to join us out here. (We can't wait to meet her and have all of you meet her, too!)

Looking at that lost photo of me, it looks like I've got something bigger than cantaloupe in there! :-)

Thank you to all of my friends and sister who got together to throw me a wonderful baby shower. It was great to see all of you! Here are some of the pictures, more to come later. 10-01-09 Baby Shower

The baby's room is about 85% done. We still have to get curtains and put stuff away. We ordered a glider rocker today so that will be coming in a week or two. The room is kinda hard to photograph, so I did the best I could.

Here I am. I'm getting big!
