We didn't really do anything for Halloween. Saha wore her costume to the Rally the day before. She was very interested in what mom was doing carving the pumpkin. the final product

First Cold

Saha is on the way out of her first cold. She has had a runny nose all week and Friday it seemed to be getting worse so I took her to the doctor Saturday morning. The doctor checked her out, said that her lungs and ears were clear and that it was just a cold and could take up to 2 weeks to run its course. Well, later that day, she was being fussy and very clingly, which is very unusual for our little miss independent, so I took her temperature and she had a bit of a fever but it wasn't too bad. Today, she was doing the same thing and when I took her temp in the early evening it was 103.7, so Allen went out to get some baby ibuprofen. We gave her a dose and a nice long bath to help bring down the temperature (per our Dr. Sears baby book) and then let her have a longer than normal "naked fun time" after her bath. She was super happy in the bath, splashing and laughing and we could tell that she was already feeling better. After the bath she was just full of energy (she did ...

Cheerios, etc.

Saha can now officially feed herself. So far she pretty much will eat anything that we give her, including broccoli, so there's hope for a child who likes everything! Here she is showing off her blossoming fine motor skills. This also proves that we can amuse her for a while with Cheerios. I think that we'll be taking a big bag of them with us on our trip! On a different topic, she has now figured out that she has many toys that will make noise when shaken. This toy in particular makes a funny noise and she's definitely figured it out. Stay tuned for her 8 month picture in a couple of days. Also, Saha has 4 teeth now, so she can BITE! (This is not always a good thing, as she has taken to biting Mommy)
