Overheard at our house...

I'm going to start a new segment that I'm going to call "Overheard at our house" which is just awesome things that Saha says. For my first installment, I give you this gem: Allen says, "Saha, tell mom what James did when I came to pick you up." I said, "Did he give you a high five?" Allen says, "What did he do before the high five? Did he give you a kiss?" Saha, "Yes." Me, "Where did he give you a kiss?" Saha  (pointing at her left cheek), "Right here!" Allen, "Saha had the biggest smile on her face." (after a few seconds) "Mommy, I love James." "Mommy, I love James." (oh boy!) Saha pretty much says loves everything right now, including foods that she's never had, so I'm not too concerned, just yet.

Go bike ride. You need change mommy.

Nani and Saha's adventure

While Allen and I were away, my Mom came and stayed with Saha, but it wasn't just Mom. My Dad worked in a business trip, so he spent both weekends with Saha and Mom and worked up near Baltimore during the week in between (well 4 days) and the weekend that we came back Priya and Mike came up to visit, but we just missed seeing them. My Dad did stay that night so that we could at least see him, and Mom left the following day. Here are some pictures from the 10 days of Nani-time! Northern European Adventure

Here's the post I know that you have all been waiting for! Well, you are in for a treat (or a bore, depending on how you look at it) Allen and I went on a trip without Saha from May 24-Jun 3 rd . We covered 5 countries and had a great time. My mom came for 2 weeks and stayed with Saha, and they both had a blast. I’ll do a post on their time together after this one on our trip. We were able to do the trip with backpacks, so it made all the travelling much easier. Below is a day by day recap. I was going to scatter some pics in, but there are just too many and this post is way overdue. You can click here to view the web album. All the pictures have captions. Don't worry, I did whittle it down from 1117 pics to only posting 313 online! Friday – Iceland We took an overnight flight to Iceland. We arrived at 6:30 am, got our rental car and drove south, away from the airport and Reykjavik. We went along the coast, saw various geothermal mud springs, some awesome cliff...
