There is some proof that full moons can cause women who are close to their due date to go into labor and can also cause false labor. The midwives definitely believe in it and I found a couple of articles online that support it. Let's hope that the full moon this weekend makes her come out to meet us! Article 1 Article 2

Yesterday afternoon, my colleagues had a surprise baby shower for me in the afternoon at work. It was very sweet and wonderful and I got the greatest gift - a little T-shirt for the baby with the new QEA logo on it! It is so adorable. I will post a picture this weekend, along with a belly picture. I apologize for missing week 38.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the baby did not decide to come during the blizzard we had yesterday, thank goodness! She has been moving a lot recently, but she's probably just trying to stretch out, since space is getting tight in there.

I am definitely getting bigger!

We got 19" inches of snow over the weekend - 19 INCHES!!!!!! The forecast for tomorrow through Wednesday is an additional 10-20 INCHES of snow. Now, if I wanted this much snow I would have moved to upstate New York. The only place this much snow is a good thing is in the ski resorts, which is not where I live. I will post some pictures later from "Snowpocalypse 2010." Let's just hope that baby doesn't decide to come sometime this week, or her daddy may be the only one there to catch her.
