Funny video

This is Saha this morning. It was just too precious and funny not to take a video of. You may have to look closely to get the real point of the movie.

The Rain

Yesterday we had a great big wind and thunderstorm that knocked out power all over the region, but luckily not at our house. Since it was so warm out, I decided to take Saha out in the rain to see what she would think of it. Well, it didn't phase this little girl AT ALL. We walked out and she acted like we were just going outside, that nothing was happening. The fun part was watching her lick the rain that was running down her face.

Saha Can Sit!

This past week Saha has really been getting good at sitting up. She can do it for at least 5 minutes at a time. When she gets distracted, she looses her balance and falls over, but she is overall pretty stable. Go Saha!

New Videos

Here are some videos from the past couple days. Enjoy!

4 Month Doctor Appointment

Saha had a doctor's appointment today. She now weights 13 pounds 10 ounces, is 24 1/4 inches tall and has a head circumference of 16 inches! She is growing so fast - 50% in all areas.

4 months old!

Saha turned 4 months old yesterday. Here's the picture. My friend Kile told me about something that a friend of hers did, put the same stuffed animal with the baby every month - the magic shrinking stuffed animal. I'm starting that now, so that we have something to scale her growth off of.

First 4th of July

Image
As I mentioned earlier, we went up to New Haven, CT for the 4th this year, Priya just got a job there working for the environmental design firm Atelier Ten . She started on July 1st. She and mom left SLC on June 22nd to drive across the country. It's a pretty straight shot, on I-80 all the way and then a little on I-95 at the end. They got into New Haven on Friday late morning. Priya was lucky to have an apartment by the following Tuesday and she had already moved some of her stuff in on Thursday. Allen and Saha picked me up from work around noon on Friday and we started our adventure. We stopped around 2:30 to feed Saha and get some coffee. We took a detour on the way up and stopped to visit with Ruchi, Sharad and Karthik. We also go to see Ruchi's mom, PritiAunti, who is in the US for another couple of months. We continued on and made it to New Haven around 8:30. We stopped at Priya's new place, dropped of her stuff that we had brought her, and had some Thai foo...

Milestone!

Saha rolled over today! She rolled from front to back over the left side! Very exciting. Hopefully she will do it again tomorrow. We had a great 4th with Mom and Priya in New Haven, more to come with pictures.
