About a week before Saha was born, I had some photos taken of me in my super pregnant stage by a professional photographer. I have not posted any until now because the photos were a surprise for Allen and for my parents, but now that they've seen them, here are a few. She is growing more aware every day. Now she stares at Mom and Dad for extended periods of time and even follows  us around with her eyes when we walk around the room. She has also started smiling when she's awake! We're having a hard time capturing these smiles on film, but when we do, I will definitely post a picture. She cries less when we put her down and is getting better at self-comforting. Often her cries only last a few seconds and she comforts herself. I can't believe she's almost 7 weeks old!

Took these recently and just had to share.

Saha had her one month appointment today. She now weights 9 pounds 10 ounces, is 21 inches tall and has a head circumference of 14 1/2". She's 75% for weight, and 50% for height and head. She is eating well, is very alert and the past few days has started following mom and dad with her eyes a lot more. She also is making more happy noises and is spending time awake and not crying, which is nice. She plays more and her legs and arms are very very strong. Overall, doing VERY well! :-)
