General Update
Saha is getting quicker and quicker at moving herself around. She still really only goes to the left when she's cruising, but she can use pretty much anything to stand herself up - couch, table, speakers, entertainment center, mom, dad - you name it.
We went to get actual babyproofing stuff today - new knobs for the large bookshelves so that we could use those tie things to keep them shut, little rubber feet to put under her play table and other things so that they don't slide when she uses them to pull herself to standing, and the plastic things for cabinets and drawers. She is growing so fast that we won't be surprised if she'll be able to walk through the airport herself when we go to South Africa.
We are also trying to teach her that she need to have a volume control on her voice, but we'll see how well that works. We are really most worried about the really long plane ride.
Saha's up to quite a few different foods now. We just introduced her to carrots this weekend and she seem to love them. The foods she is now eating regularly are: apple, kitchedi (lentils and rice) and carrots. She has also eaten some banana, potato, sweet potato and a little bit of beet. We are going to do pears next and then probably a green vegetable.
We are getting really excited for our trip. We have now booked all of our accommodations, car rentals, and internal airfare. We are staying one night in Swaziland, so we will get 2 countries on this trip.
