South Africa - Part 1

Because there's no way that I can possibly post everything at once, I'll start with some and then slowly add more. We had an AMAZING time in South Africa. The food was fantastic, the people were so friendly, and the animals were awe-inspiring.

Saha got to add two countries - South Africa and Swaziland. We flew through the Netherlands but because we didn't leave the airport (just not enough time) it doesn't count (doesn't count for me either, and I've been in that airport at least 4 times!) We contemplated going into Mozambique, but it was more complicated since were weren't allowed to take the rental car there, so we decided to catch it next time.

Quick recap of the trip:
November 20th - Arrive in Johannesburg late evening
November 21st - Jo'burg, Soweto (Mandela House, Apartheid Museum)
Novembe 22nd - Pretoria, drive to Kruger
November 23rd - Animals! (Kruger)
November 24th - Animals
November 25th - Mliliwane Nature Reserve in Swaziland
November 26th - Ezulwini Valley (Swaziland), drive back to Jo'burg
November 27th - Fly to Capetown, Table Mountain
November 28th - Cape of Good Hope, penguins!
November 29th - Robben Island, flight back to Jo'burg
November 30th - Flight back home

As you can see, it was a very full trip but we did take it slow and of course left lots to see next time.
