Second 1st Birthday Party
Last Saturday we had a birthday party with all of our friends, covering pretty much every stage of our life. I had a friend from high school (Natalie & Marc & Madeleine & Sophie), one from college (Jodie), one from grad school (Brette), a few from work (Katie & Matt, Juan & Ana & Joaquin, Alisa, James & Eliza & Thomas), a couple from our Bradley class (Sarah & Juman & Joy, Derek & Mahalie) and another friend that we've made along the way (Anne & Shamik & Caleb through Natalie).
As I was the hostess, I did not take many pictures so thank you so much to Juman for being the unofficial photographer for the party. He took some amazing shots and has graciously given them all to me. The only pictures that I took are the cake, all others are Juman's.
We had 7 kids in the house, from the ages of about 4 months to over 2 1/2 years. Saha had a wonderful time playing with all of her friends and getting lots of attention. She sure did love the chocolate cake, too! From watching her play with Madeleine both this past weekend and the one before, we are sure that she is ready to move on to the next classroom at school, as she has been gradually over the past week. Our baby is growing up!
