Cherry Blossom Festival

We actually woke up at 6:15 on a Sunday to go down to the Tidal Basin and see the cherry blossoms. They were beautiful and even at that time there were quite a few people out. I honestly have never seen so many people with full on tripods and "fancy" cameras in one location before. We got there about a half hour after sunrise and most of those people must have gotten there for that.

Here are some pictures of us among the blossoms, and some of the blossoms themselves, which are beautiful, as always. The weather wasn't too bad, either. It was in the 40s this morning and by the afternoon it was almost 60.

It took a while for Saha to get in the mood. I think that she wanted to go back to sleep after eating this morning and she didn't really get happy until we let her run around a bit at the FDR memorial.

I just had to take this one...very iconic, I know.

Saha in her new "sports car" stroller as Allen calls it. We needed a lighter, smaller, more maneuverable one, and I got this Maclaren stroller yesterday. It's really nice and is very smooth to push, even with one hand.

Just look at those trees!
