This weekend
We spent Friday evening and Sunday afternoon in Old Town Alexandria because the weather was so nice. Saturday we had terrible rain and wind all day and there was some flooding in Old Town. I've included some pictures below of all the driftwood and garbage the washed up onto the shore at the park along the Potomac from our walk this morning.
First of all, though - here is Saha's first taste of pesto pasta (after the fact of course)

Some pictures of the driftwood

It took out this little gazebo/pier. If you go back into the archives from the end of last summer, there are some pictures of Marc and Madeleine on this little gazebo from when we had a picnic out there with the Tolleys.

The black in the foreground is the walking path along the water.

Playing at the fountain in Market Square, which is front of Alexandria's City Hall.

Action shot!

Mommy, don't drop me in!
Overall we had a great weekend.
This evening, Saha had her first taste of butter chicken and she loved it. I didn't get a picture, but the end of the meal looked much like the pasta and pesto pictures from before.
I do have a few videos, but those take longer to format and load, so I'll upload some of those later.
As always, more photos can be found here.
