Fun Times
A couple days ago, we were in the bathroom and Saha dipped her hand in the toilet. Now, we're usually pretty good about keeping the lid closed, especially because we like to conserve water (if you catch my drift). Luckily we weren't in the middle of a water conservation cycle, and I saw her as she was doing it, so I was able to grab her and wash her hand before she put it up to her face. She likes to dip her hand in the water coming out of a faucet and wipe her mouth, I assume because we do that to her after eating.
Today, Saha was very very talkative. From when she woke up until she went to bed, I don't think she was quiet for more than 10 seconds. This afternoon, she started making herself dizzy by spinning around and around. She did this on and off for at least 5 minutes, with the biggest smile on her face. She's fall down and just get back up and keep going.
We've also started this new thing with "gotcha" where I'll give her a big hug and say "Gotcha!" Now she'll run toward me when I'm sitting on the floor, throw herself in my lap, give me a big hug and say "Gotcha!"
New food today - homemade pulled pork! She loved it. She had that, cheese and strawberry/banana yogurt for dinner. Tried to get her to eat some raw red bell pepper but she wasn't going for that.
Saha loves....(will pretty much eat all the time)
Bananas
Cheese
Cheerios
Dried apples
Dried pears
Yogurt
This weekend we had some pretty good weather. Yesterday, we went for a nice long walk down by the river and then had lunch and ice cream in old town. After lunch, we let Saha run off her ice cream in Market Square and then we came home.

At the park

Waiting for ice cream

Patiently waiting for the ice cream

Adorable! Don't you love it when kids get all hyper and start adding in new vocabulary!
ReplyDeleteSO CUTE! She is so grown up. Aw man, my kitty did that same thing with the toilet today!!!! Dot (we got a second one and she's still a little racaly kitten) jumped right into the toilet and we WERE in the middle of one of those conservation cycles, haha! Luckily I grabbed her really quickly and ran her feet and tail under the water in the sink.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment! I will DEFINITELY do that bagel sandwich for breakfast. it sounds so good! Glad I get to follow your blog and keep in touch! take care, Nikki and Collin
