New Jersey, Connecticut and New York Trip
Over the 4th of July weekend we took a trip up to the NYC area to visit with some friends and family. We had a wonderful time, got to see so many friends and eat fabulous food. Here are some pictures from the weekend
Saturday we went to dinner at a seasonal restaurant called "The Place" which only serves seafood and corn, no other sides, no drinks, but you are welcome to bring your own. The food was amazing, and it was the best corn on the cob I've ever had.

Tori, (soon to be born baby), Jules and Carl

Priya made these "turtle" bars (shortbread, caramel, pecans and chocolate chips) that Saha just ate the chocolate chips off of, hence the chocolate beard.
Saturday, we went to dim sum in Chinatown with Angela, Ryan (her boyfriend), Sean, Andrew, Sneh and Priya. Afterward we did a little shopping (Priya and I both wanted good woks) and then we took the subway up to Cooper.
We were graciously given a private tour of the new Cooper academic building by Brooke, a woman who works in the Alumni office.

After the Cooper tour, Allen, Andrew, Angela and Ryan went to McSorley's and the rest of us walked over the the west side to have some really delicious cupcakes at a place around the corner from Sneh and Aniju's apartment. Ruchi, Sharad and Karthik joined us there and then we all went to visit the High Line.

This picture is so cute!

Hugs!

More hugs!

This morning - Saha in her new shirt from Aniju and Sneh didi. It was patriotic day at school, so the shirt was very apropos. Doesn't she look really old in this picture?

As always, more pictures can be found here in the online album.
